Grateful for laughter in my life

Laughter is the closest distance between two people. -Victor Borge
Good morning! It’s cloudy outside with a chance of meatballs, just like it has been for the last few days. However, it doesn’t stop me from feeling a little sentimental this morning. I’m incredibly appreciative for people in my life that truly make me laugh or laugh with me. I’m appreciative for the fact that my personality allows me to be a goofball and laugh so hard to the point of tears. There are many times in my life when I’ve laughed hella hard that my stomach hurt and was sore the next day. Hell, sometimes I’d laugh so hard while taking a drink that it’d just spray right back out. While I may not remember why I’m laughing, the laughter is forever etched in my mind. (Okay, count how many times I said laugh?!)
Honestly, it could be about stupid stuff that doesn’t make sense, something so funny that everyone would understand, or it could be just a simple inside joke between two people. While I’m already a goofball, certain people in my life allow me to be really goofy without any inhibitions. To the world, I could look like a total idiot and get weird looks, but with certain friends, it’s the funniest thing in the world. Life is short, you know? Don’t take it so seriously, we don’t get out alive anyways.
I’m just incredibly humbled to have certain people in my life that can make my smile go for miles and laugh like there’s no tomorrow. You know who you are, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You’ve planted a permanent laughter line on my face!
