@ck – is there a video or image somewhere to show that sign you saw from November? From what it sounds like, it’s just signing “O” then “B”. (closed “4″ is a “B”, isn’t it?) So far, this is the only sign I’ve seen for his name, and I’m liking it.

I read that there’s a company that owns bars/restaurants in the Metro DC area that’s selling $25 bathroom passes that one can use at any one of their locations. Smart business!!!

i really enjoyed the pictures. sometimes i wish i didn’t have this fear of a swarm of people because that many people terrifies me!! Plus I do not own an actual winter coat! I’m glad you got to experience it and share it with us!

Sososo glad you and Jeff went out and celebrated something that is definitely going down in history. I still think it’s way cool that you will be able to share your very own pictures with your family in the future. I kind of wish I went to Grant Park the night Obama won the election, but no way in heck was I going alone! A girl at work went, and she said the same thing “everyone was so nice”. So, I believe Obama has already brought change, even if temporarily, before being sworn in as our next president.

Kara — I didn’t like the Obama sign name. I liked the first one I saw in November, O then closed “4″ to signify the flag logo, not the O-”180″turn-B one that I saw on youtube.

I think you guys made the right decision to go out there. I really think that’s just goosebumps-inducing to know that Obama and all these famous people were so close by (even though you may have not seen them with your own eyes). And to hear that everyone was so nice, with a crowd that huge, is also just awesome. Did you see the YouTube video about how to sign Obama’s name?

It was worth suffering the cold and crowds, but if this was just the concert, I wonder what the mall is gonna be like during the actual inauguration…
