CAUTION: Cheesy lane ahead!
Over this past weekend, Jeff and I have been to several furniture stores trying to find a sofa we like. At the last store, I was way too exhausted. So, I said to Jeff, “Honey, let’s just go through this store quickly. If you see something you like, sit on it and see how you like it. If you don’t like it, move on fast.” I sat on a sofa that I thought I might like. Immediately Jeff sat on me and was all, “I found something I like.” And continued to sit on me.
Ha ha. I’m not a sofa.
isn’t sofa shopping exhausting?! luckily we knew what kind of lines we liked that we picked ethan allen. But we still checked all the other stores on rockville pike, and we’d try to walk through all of them quickly.
who knew sitting down and testing out tons of sofas is an exhausting task!

@ Sharif – trust me, I did, and California Macy’s furniture WHOOPS DC big time. My old sofa in California was from Macy’s.

totally serious! we took a day trip to their showroom in NYC to pick out some stuff and then ordered it online. They delivered it a few weeks later using a HUGE double semi-trailer with our couple of couches in the back — it was hilarious. Blocked 3 driveways in our neighborhood while they unloaded and put the feet on for us!
Everything they’ve got is super high quality and a good value.
