My sister and Ramen

Last night I attempted a Myoplex shake for dinner because I ate like crap all day long at work, but it was just unsatisfying. Sure, it filled me up, but I wanted a MEAL that you can CHEW. You know, utilize the teeth that we were given! So, I also had this:
I know it is nothing to call Rachael Ray about. However, it really brought back fond memories, which made me feel nostalgic for times with my sister. She and I had this crap almost everyday during our first summer living in California. We were experts at il bel far niente (the beauty of doing nothing). Sleep in, eat Ramen, go out by the pool, come back in to watch Days of Our Lives (Oh God, I used to watch that?!), and go back out to the pool. That summer was probably the most time I had ever spent with my sister. Isn’t that La Dolce Vita?

ew. =) but i know the feeling about the shakes. that’s why i drink them in the morning. then around 9 or 10 i’ll eat an apple. I hate drinking calories which is why i don’t drink soda or juice all that much!
re. your previous post. your horn is your best friend here. hector taught me that! but really, yeah apparently a lot of people don’t wnat to treat lights out as a 4 way stop sign. they just wanna get home. annoyed me! i tried to let people through when i could.

har har! Ramen and Days of our Lives! So my VT summer life growing up too! I love Ramen Noodles too. Haven’t had them in forever, but am putting it on the list to buy next time I hit up the food store.

Ramen must have been in Jeff’s life at RIT, also. I still make them adding all kinds of vegetable and some meat & egg.
What a clever way to satisfy stomach and still nutritiously balanced!
